The Arenui looked fantastic on the website but nothing could compare with seeing it for the first time and a highlight was to see it with the sails up. As a relatively inexperienced diver it was everything I could have wished for. This was billed as a dive trip of a life time and it totally blew my mind. Thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Guillem and Kai; special mentions to Kadek and Mario who are first class . The tender drivers could not have been more helpful. Famy completely made my diving experience the best ever, great sense of humor, professional, enthusiastic and amazing young man. I am going home with a food baby and will be unable to squeeze into my clothes. Simply delicious at every meal and of course the snacks and coffee. From the moment we arrived at Sorong airport to the moment we left the Arenui every possible wish has been anticipated together with a friendly smile. Our trip has exceeded all expectations and I would book to come again in a heart beat. Our fellow guests were tremendous fun and great to share this fabulous experience with. I shall shed quite a few tears on leaving and am highly jealous of the next set of guests. Thank to all the Arenui!

I cannot think of a single way to improve the experience—long life to Arenui and its crew! This was my first liveaboard experience, and I was amazed by the adventure. Two words for the food: quality and abundance. As a snorkeler, I never felt that the crew put me apart, and the staff were always smiling. I had a good feeling of what Indonesia has to offer, and it was great. Many thanks!
An experience of a lifetime—we truly feel like family with the staff! We felt loved and cared for on a whole new level. WOW—I didn’t expect this much service, attention, and care. I absolutely loved the scents of the clothes, shampoos, and towels—I’ve never experienced anything like this. The diving was beautiful, with a passionate, generous, and devoted crew. Chef was amazing, and I will miss the kindness and love from the entire team. I know I’ll cry when I leave!
Very nice liveaboard—the best I’ve ever done!! Everything was perfect. Mario is the best chef ever!! The information sessions with Natalia and Alex were great, and Fahmi was awesome! Diving in Alor was perfect, what a beautiful country!
The boat was beyond excellent! We really appreciated the option to choose half portions of both dinner entrée. Loved the lunch desserts, and also the lighter dessert options with dinner. The entire crew was exemplary! Tiau is the best dive master we’ve ever had, and the cruise director was fantastic. We especially loved the special treatment on the dive deck and tenders! Overall—loved, loved, loved the trip! We would definitely do it again!

The ship is beautiful, the cabins are pretty and comfy, and the food was fantastic—beautifully presented. Arief was the highlight of the trip! Natalia and Alex were awesome, and Fred took great care of us underwater. I loved the diving—so easy, and I didn’t have to lift a finger. What service! This trip was on the higher end of my budget, but absolutely worth it. I truly hope I can come again sometime!
Beautiful boat, and the food was beyond amazing! The crew went above and beyond to assist every guest. Tian was a wonderful guide, and being in a group with similar diving skills really maximized our enjoyment of the dives. The boat accommodated our every need—it’s well laid out and provides every comfort. Everyone—and I mean everyone—was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful in every way possible. Table service and the stewards’ help with dive clothing were truly over the top. Absolutely excellent service in every area, in every way. The diving was spectacular! The briefings were perfect, the dive masters were excellent, and the boat tenders were incredible—no complaints at all. The chef and crew delivered an incredible menu with a wide variety of perfectly cooked meals. We really enjoyed the originality and deliciousness of every dish!

For those who haven’t been on the Arenui or a liveaboard before—we’ve had the time of our lives and appreciated every moment. We will be back! Every person on board has been fantastic, always smiling and incredibly welcoming. You never feel like you’re putting anyone out by asking for something. The boat is beautiful, with amazing attention to detail—you can really tell how much care went into creating it. The variety and choices of food onboard are great for everyone!
This has been a trip we’ve been looking forward to for years—and we’re so happy with the experience and are definitely considering the Arenui for future trips to Indonesia. The cruise directors, crew, and divemasters were outstanding. Without a doubt, the crew was one of the most amazing parts of the trip—so helpful, friendly, and a joy to be around.We enjoyed every meal, every day, and loved the daily meal descriptions. What came out of the kitchen was five stars—the best dining I’ve ever had at any dive resort or on any liveaboard! The camera handling was excellent. Having Kadek rinse, dry, and return my camera after every dive with such care and thoroughness was amazing. I so appreciated Ketut washing and hanging my dive gear, I will be booking a trip or two in the future, thank you!
It was a splurge for us, but after being here, we would absolutely do it again—and we hope to!
The attention to detail and the personal touch of learning everyone’s names truly puts the crew over the top. Taking only one group out at a time is SUPERB, and having help peeling off booties and wetsuits is the BEST! Real maple syrup was an outstanding touch of luxury!
