The Boat: All excellent. Beautiful!! So well maintained. 5 Star. The Diving: All excellent. The staff are incredible. Knowledgable, caring and fun. The dive sites were varied and each one special. Ronald and team are top notch. The Crew: All excellent. The crew is what made the trip extra special. Always ready to help. Science talks were super. Divemasters were outstanding. Stewards were so great. Really great team. 5 Stars. Food and Beverage: My diet and restrictions were not a problem. Plenty of awesome choices.
G and Jose were outstanding and their leadership is reflected in how the whole staff performs. Thank you all for make this a trip for a lifetime. Adding the site trips was also very appreciated.
I chartered this ship for our 35th wedding anniversary. Travelled to Bali the fall of 2015 to ensure the Arenui met my expectations. It exceeded my expectations at first sight. I was told Raja Ampat was world class but until you experience it for yourself I feel you don’t really have any idea how awesome it is.
The crew is without question the best part of the trip. The boat and the diving are great, but the crew really brings the experience together. The attention to detail is amazing. My sister was lucky enough to get married while on this cruise. The crew did an amazing job to make the wedding unforgettable. I am a foody, I love to cook, I enjoy culinary experiences, the Arenui culinary team exceeded my expectations in every regard.

Exceptional diving and snorkeling, organizing great, help from the staff excellent. Cannot say enough about the dive sites and what we saw. The entire crew were amazing, kind, friendly , helpful and happy. Totally 5 star from the captain to G and Jose they were all so much fun and always ready to help. They all took such great care of us- the service is truly exceptional. Food and Beverage: All excellent. I was very thirsty one day and I asked Mario what I could drink- he made me a lime aid that was excellent and thirst quenching. And he continued to make it for me throughout the trip. I don’t like to drink soft drinks or beer so it was a life saver.
Special mention to Mario and Kadek, Hassan who snorkeled with me and made me more comfortable in the water, G and Jose who answered all our questions, and Fahmy who kept us smiling, really the whole staff was exceptional.
Best diving I have ever done. Ferry was so very good. Everyone works so hard. Boat drivers etc. Lovely people all. I really miss you. Again I can’t say enough. Just loved this whole adventure so much. I’ll probably be 10 lbs heavier when I get home. Food was so very good. I feel like this is a once in a life time experience but I would absolutely come back if I could. I can’t say how special this trip has been. Everyone has been fantastic. Great team. G, Fery, Jose and Mario- treasures all. I have never been so spoiled in my life.
Such great variety. Catered to people who couldn’t eat certain things. Always something to eat. Can’t say enough about the crew. So helpful friendly and fabulous. Felt like family by the end of the trip. They did everything for us. The diving was amazing. The amount and variety of fish was incredible. This has been a once in a life time adventure. Exceeded my expectations.
The boat: Actual beauty! Every detail is spectacular & she is a sight to behold. Food & Beverage: excellent. Amazing! Consistently better than what we may pay for at a New York City restaurant. The chefs pampered us from dawn until nightfall. Truly a world-class experience delivered by a world-class crew. I don’t think I can put on my BCD, fins on without Hoiron & Hassan anymore. Mario, Kadek, Wayan & Wenton – hats off to their smart attentive care & of course our loveliest & most jesting divemasters Fahmi.
We thank all the people who made our trip so wonderful: Siska was a delight to deal with arranging everything for us. G was the consummate host. We appreciated learning the “ropes” and rules of Arenui so clearly and being guided through each day with such grace and humor. Jose was an unexpected gift. We enjoyed his willingness to teach us and to share his talent so enthusiastically with such grandiosity. Ronald, our divemaster, or “the Best ” was just great. We landed with him immediately. Bayu was so helpful to us 70+ year olds. Made us believe our diving days can continue with the kind assistance he gave us. The cheerful Sujai was also most helpful.
We could go on naming many staff members we came in contact with. In their own way each and one of them made our diving trip the very best of the many we have done. It has been a wonderful to see that now we have found Arenui our diving days can continue.
This trip was perfection. It will be tough act to follow. Nothing can compare.
We love the Arenui. it’s design brings Indonesia to life for us. This was our second trip on the Arenui and it was even better! Each year improvements are made and we appreciated the effort to make the trips outstanding in everything.
